Having a Field Day

WOW.ZAH. if you asked us how many things we could fit in one day, we would kindly point you towards today as an example of exactly how much we can do during waking hours.

We started the day off with some classes. There was art! There was pottery! There was dance! To be honest, it was all kind of a blur (but the best kind of blur.)

Then, a group of us split off to weather the seas with our good friends from the impossible dream catamaran. As you can see, it was a real rough ride for us. Definitely not relaxing at all.

One thing we love about the Impossible Dream (aside from the great company, cute dog, and beautiful scenery) is the fact that the catamaran is FULLY WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE. We’ve never let stairs or a lack or ramps keep us from having fun, but our friends on board sure do make it easy for all of us! It is always a true delight.

While our seafaring friends were off doing that, the rest of us got our fair share of saltwater at THE BEACH! To be frank, the weather was perfect and we had a ton of fun. We don’t want to make you feel too bad though, so we won’t show you all the pictures. (also we were having too good of a time to remember to take any… oops!)
Then, we scooted back to camp, cleaned up, spent some more time really making ourselves at home in the new main cabin, had a delicious dinner, and went to get some money for camp at our fundraiser at the Field Club!

We shmoozed, ate, drank, and danced the night away. And not for no reason! All with the aim of raising money for an endowment so that camp can be tuition free FOREVERRRRRR. A noble cause indeed.  Here we are looking beautiful, admire away.

Now, the day is done and we are going to sleep away with our bellies full of hors d’oeuvres and seltzer. See you back here tomorrow!
Love,
Camp
