Beach and Fireworks

Families and friends of our campers, do not forget that pick-up takes place at the Wood’s Hole ferry terminal on Monday, August 20th at 10:15am!

Today (Friday August 17) we woke up and had a breakfast of bagels, healthy muffins and overnight oats.  Then some of us went out on Jack’s motor boat, some of us became pirates, and some of us stayed at camp for classes.  First, as usual, we had Music. Then we had Restorative Sound Bath, led by Valerie Sonnenthal of Peaked Hill Studio, where we learned to connect to the present moment by listening to sound.  Finally, we had Pottery, led by Madeline, which was extra-special today because Madeline and all the potters were basking in the glow of the prize Jabberwocky won at the fair!

After these varied morning activites we had a tasty lunch and got ready to go to the beach!

For dinner we had a chicken and rice with beautifully seasoned lentils, tofu, cauliflower, murshrooms and chickpeas.  Many thanks to our wonderful cooks, Tom and Jordan!

Then we loaded up the bus and the vans and we went to see the fireworks at Oak Bluffs!.

What a wonderful day!  It is hard to believe Camp is drawing to a close.  Remember: pick-up takes place at the Wood’s Hole ferry terminal on Monday, August 20th at 10:15am!

Love,

Camp
