Word of the Day: PARTY!

You read the title correctly! We had a pool party, dance party, and Flying Horses Carousel party all in one day! After we slept in and had the breakfast of champions: chocolate banana or blueberry overnight oats and eggs and bacon, we had the option to choose our morning class. We picked between improv drama class, capture the flag, and “Harry Potter in French” where Athena taught us words about magic in French!  We have new aspiring improv actresses and actors. The blue and red team actually tied! “On ne fait pas habiter dans les reves et oblier vivre.” “It does not do to dwell in dreams and forget to live” – Albus Dumbledore (J.K. Rowling)
Then we headed to the first party of the day. We swam, took boat rides, kayaked, and had a cook out! The burgers, hot dogs, and grilled chicken were very delicious. Things were going super well until Chris and the host got into a lightsaber duel! Chris won! Thank you David and Nina Fialkow for having us!
Back at camp we had some time to rest and prepare for our next party! We danced to great music in the studio. Some of us created bracelets and played chess on the porch instead.
Dinner was yummy. Some of us headed to the Flying Horses Carousel to catch those rings and take a spin on the oldest carousel in the country! CONGRATS to 3 of our campers: Nathan, Hannah, and Robbie for catching the brass ring! Some of us stayed at camp for a sing-a-long. We have good voices at camp!
With a few days left of camp we are not partied out yet! Tomorrow we are going to the fair! Good night!
Love,
Camp
