Today is July 2nd, which means the parade is in 2 DAYS!!! We’re all busy preparing our outfits, props, and floats, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t have time today for some fun!
The day started with an art/pottery combo class. In art, we painted cardboard different shades of blue to help the float-makers create an amazing ocean! In pottery, we created balloon bowls.
A few of us went on a horse experience instead of classes this morning. Look at how beautiful these horses are!
Instead of eating leftovers like the rest of camp for lunch, Momeraths chowed down at Sharky’s as a reward for winning cabin inspection the other day. Apparently the food was amazing!
While the rest of camp was napping this afternoon, Julia, Zoe, Olivia, Gabby, Ruby, and Jackie decided to go sailing! The wind was PERFECT!
We ended the day with DRUMMING ON THE BEACH!
We had a FIRE…
And a COOKOUT…
And all of our friends to hang out with!
Most of tomorrow will be spent preparing for the parade, but that doesn’t mean we won’t have another wonderful day!Love,Camp
