Hellooooo day six! We “broke the fast” this morning with some scrumptious sausage, egg, and cheese english muffin breakfast sandwiches. Then we were off to our daily music class, which was shorter than usual because we had to prep for the play! Everyone practiced in groups onstage at different intervals while rotating through pottery, bingo, and archery classes simultaneously. What a morning!
Kyle, Molly, and Ronnie spent their Sunday morning running a 5K in Edgartown, which was also so much fun!
The Martha’s Vineyard Rod & Gun Club sent us on a fishing derby trip for the sunny afternoon, where we scavenged for fish along the beautiful banks of Blackwater Pond. What a treat, thanks so much for hosting us!
When we got back, the dinner table was set with tacos and tortillas galore! We wrapped up the delectable meal with freshly baked gingersnap cookies before walking down to the studio to finish the film, Coco, from the other day. Then, we ran through the entire play (photos hidden for sake of surprise, hehe).
Our musical rendition of The Princess Bride will be performed live tomorrow night, 8/6, @ 7 PM in the studio. There will also be an ice cream social following the show. All of the campers, counselors, and staff have been working very hard to make this play happen and would love to see you there!!
Anyways, time to rest up for the big day! We will chat again tomorrow.
Love,
Camp
