We had another busy day which kept us all from remembering that it was our last full day at camp. We woke up super early to get to the Farm Institute for our 5k road race! Many counselors and campers participated in either the fun run or the full 5k race! Congrats to all who ran and thank you to all of the runners for participating!
Special shoutout to Andy and Emmy for finishing first of our campers and counselors today with a killer 21 minute 5k time! Word on the street is that Chris and Kyle’s training for 2018 starts Monday.
When we returned to camp, we had a quick lunch and went straight to the beach. We couldn’t pass up a perfect beach afternoon on our last full day.
We had a special guest, Gage’s mom Debbie, come to camp tonight to lead a Karaoke night in the studio! We even ate our pizza dinner in the studio too!
Sadly, this is the end for August camp 2017. Everyone is already looking forward to 2018 and can’t wait for the year to fly by. See you in August 2018! Much love to all.
