Faster Deborah!

Today was the first beautiful sunny day we’ve seen in a few days. We had a few special trips this morning while others attended various classes back at camp.

A group of campers and counselors went to Rising Tide for horseback riding where they were able to watch two horses trot around and pet them as well. Then we were able to go into the barn and feed the horses! Chris Michaud’s favorite part was yelling “Faster Deborah” as the horse ran around.

Back at camp Lara ran a Zumba class, Emily ran an archery class, and Ilianna ran an origami class. It was heard all around camp that a few campers shot arrows straight into the bullseye of the target!

After lunch, you guessed it, we loaded up the bus and made a run for State Beach! It was the perfect beach day.

After the beach trip and dinner, we took a special trip to Telegraph Hill at the East Chop Lighthouse for sunset. We sat on the hill where some played lawn games while others relaxed and enjoyed the view. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful day at camp!
