GOOOD MORNINGGGG CAMP JABBERWOCKY!!!
We tapped into our creative sides this morning at art class with Madeline. We designed lanterns for illumination night, decorated jars, and made jewelry.
We had another practice and recording session down in the studio with the video-makers from the Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival.
Lunch was great, as always. Today we had chicken and avocado melts, roast beef melts, PB&Js, and salad.
After lunch, we had our weekly challenge-offs.
There were some main cabin porch hangouts before our afternoon outing.
It was a PERFECT beach day, so we spent the whole afternoon on the beach, soaking up the sun.
After dinner, some of us played video games with sets of adaptive controllers.
We topped off the day with an illumination night walk through camp to admire the lanterns we made earlier this morning!
As always, the illumination night walk ended with a trip to camp’s very own Back Door Donuts. The donut options tonight were chocolate glazed, butter crunch, cinnamon swirl, chocolate sprinkles, and apple fritters. So many good choices!!!
While we ate our donuts, we went around the table and each shared something we are grateful for. It was such a wholesome end to our day!
We can’t believe how quickly time is flying by at camp, but we’re doing our best to make the most of each day we have together this summer. We certainly made the most of our jam packed day in the sun today!
