Hello People Who Like Camp Jabberwocky!!!
August session is officially back in action, and we are SO SO SO happy to be back on the island, at camp, and as much in love with each other as we’ve always been. We promise that we took TONS of pictures so we could tell you guys all about our day… But it appears that the chaos (I mean excitement..) has exhausted us AND the photo-uploading tool on our website. So consider this post just a taste-test of the joys to come!
Anywho, we are so excited to have our campers and counselors (and all the other amazing people that make camp happen) all together in one place.We don’t like to waste even a second of our precious time at camp, so we got right down to business.
The abridged version of our day goes something like this…
1. Ferry
We started our normal camp shenanigans on the ferry over from Woods Hole this morning. Along with all the familiar beautiful faces, we brought back some unfamiliar (but still beautiful!) faces. For this week, we have three new campers joining us: Wyatt, Stephanie, and Sophie. We could tell from the get-go that they’ll do just fine!

2. Walk back to camp
Made us very hungry
3. Lunch
Eating Mark, Patty, and Drew’s fantastic food made us less hungry.
4. Beach
We played to our hearts’ content, and only got a little smelly.
This is Sophie! She’s a brand-new camper this year. We are so happy to have her!

Finally, the campers had to drag their counselors back to the bus and into bed. We arrived back at camp exhausted, but elate! We got ready for some much needed sleep to prepare ourselves for another great day at camp tomorrow.
Hopefully all technical difficulties will be resolved tomorrow, and we’ll be able to show you ALL of the beautiful faces that we have with us here on Greenwood Ave. Until then, we’ll keep doing our thing!
