A silly thing called a tropical storm really put a damper on our family camp plans and we had to end a day early (and blog a few days late), so sad! Never fear because we really went out with a bang!
To start our lovely day we made Catherine do the dishes… just kidding she said she wanted to do it. Catherine you can come back to camp anytime!
Then after a sufficient amount of chores we all earned a trip on the ever-lovely Mad Max! It was a perfect day to ditch the wheelchairs on the dock and sail around like kings and queens.
Special Thanks to Andrew for all this photos this weekend!
We followed our taste of royalty with a taste of picnic and a taste of ice cream and shopping in Edgartown.
The afternoon was a take it easy kind of time. Some of us visited Andrew for one last go at the archery range. Rumor has it there was also some art, dance and cycling but the photographic proof has yet to arrive. We all had to get rested up for Parents Night Out/Kid’s Night In.
No one knows exactly what happened at Parent’s Night Out but as you can tell from the pictures it probably was pretty awful, thank goodness the rest of us didn’t have to go.
We do know what happened at kids night in though. We had a talent show! Turns out we are an immensely talented group.
We can dance:
We can Robot
We can Sing and Lip Sync
We can drum
We can enact sweet revenge (yes, that is a talent)
Jack even took this picture of us as his talent to showcase our talents as attentive audience members.
We followed our talent fest with a fun session of parachute led by Vicki.
When all that still wasn’t enough fun we had a serious of ridiculous games followed by painting!
We are so thankful to all of the families that joined us for our inaugural Family Camp. We had a blast with you and can’t wait to see you next year!
Sweet Dreams,
Camp
