Hey gang! Today we have another guest blogger, Kevin E. Here’s what he has to say about our day:
After a fun-filled day yesterday, we woke up with smiles on (most) of our faces–some people needed coffee to get going, but others (like myself) were raring to go hours before the bell rang! We ate a delicious breakfast and loaded up the bus for a day of fun!
According to our minds- which are sometimes fogged by the fun of being at camp- we thought that we were going to have a nice morning sail on the Mad Max Catamaran, but OOPS! We reversed our days and we are actually going tomorrow! That being said, in true Jabberwocky style, we wiped the frowns off our faces and enjoyed a fun and ice cream filled day.
Since we were already in Edgartown, we decided to go in separate ways and do whatever our hearts desired. Some of us shopped until we dropped, while others stuffed their faces with more ice cream than should be humanly possible!
We didn’t just eat ice cream, though! We also ate the picnic lunch that we packed for the boat ride.
After we were done exploring Edgartown, we went to Dairy Queen and stuffed our faces with even more ice cream!
Then, we finally sauntered back to camp and changed into our attire for our favorite part of camp… the beach! Others of us were not so keen on being in or around the water, so they decided to hang back at camp and express their inner artistic abilities.
Once we all were reunited, we all took showers and settled into our delicious dinner. We just couldn’t hold in our excitement for the dance party that was scheduled after dinner, so it started in the main cabin!
We then were able to transition our festivities to the studio!
We will merrily dance our way into another fun filled day tomorrow!
Love,
Kevin E. (and the rest of camp, too!)
