With the Variety Show upon us, we started the day off practicing ours skits. If you are interested in watching, swing by camp tomorrow at 7PM. After play practice we had classes art, dance and soccer.
We had a visit from the Lambs and Michael go to hold Dori’s baby!
After lunch we had a VERY special surprise. In honor of Kip’s 20th year at camp, his family surprised us with a special party! We got a really cool baseball machine – it’s like a leaf blower that keep the baseball up in the air so everyone can hit it. We had so much fun drinking soda and hitting home runs. Kippy got an honorary Jabberwocky red bus t-shirt that looks an awful lot like the Red Sox! Thank you Kip!
Chris really loved his root beer!
Philip hits it out of the park!
In the afternoon we split up and went to Owen Park or took it easy at camp. We had to save up our energy to head to the art show… and what fun that was! We headed to the new location of the Martha’s Vineyard Museum. When we arrived we go to meet some of the locals who had come to see and buy the art. We had a picnic dinner, enjoyed the sunset and played sports on the lawn. It was a gorgeous evening.
Ooops, Joey and Matthew fell down.
