Today we celebrated our success with the play (and the fact that we didn’t have play rehearsal anymore) by being as outside as possible! We started off the morning by using all our pent up energy playing and watching tennis at Camp’s Wimblewocky tournament, the highest tier of tennis competition at camp. Thank you to Dr. Steve and Cathy for putting on the event!
There was a lot of fierce competition on the court, but there was some sneaky business happening on the sidelines. Skye was given some of the extra whipped cream from the traditional tennis strawberries and cream, and he picked some choice victims to be the recipients of this delicious treat.
Thankfully Beth and others were such good sports!
The winners of Wimblewocky 2016 were George and Cathy! Congratulations and way to start your morning with some cutthroat competition!
After tennis, we figured why stop there? We wanted to shoot for a triathlon, so we went to the beach to go swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding! Also tanning, which could certainly be a sport, as far as we’re concerned. Just kidding, we’re serious about sun safety.
The beach was, as you can see, amazing. After that, we were ready to head back to camp and take it easy for the night. And by “take it easy for the night” we mean shower, put on our finest outfits, and get ready to flirt I MEAN CHAT up a storm with the Vineyard Sound!! We love them. Thank you so much for coming and having dinner and giving quite a show, you guys!
Clearly, we are doing a really good job being at Camp… even though we are definitely here for like another 3-4 months or something, so there’s no need to worry about cherishing the time we have left together. Right? Right. Phew.
Love,
Camp
