Wow what a day! Even though it was a little chilly and very cloudy, we made the absolute most of it! First, we realized that the play is in a week! So we all gathered in the studio to practice some songs, even though we do have 7 full days to get ready. Guys, that is SO much time. We’re not worried.
Then, camp split into a couple groups. One group went bowling at The Barn again, and got lots of strikes, which is apparently a good thing in bowling. We are very good at sports so we knew that already. Hannah and Sam Stoddard took some great photos of it!
The other group stayed back and had some super fun classes, including archery, photography, pottery, bike riding, and dumpling making! Thankfully no one was shot with an arrow in ANY of those classes- what a success!
After everyone got back from bowling and finished up their classes, we had a special guest named David Arnold, a great friend of Dr. Steve’s, come show us some of his incredible photos depicting global warming. We had a lot of in-depth Q&A, then spent the rest of the afternoon debriefing.
After that very thoughtful afternoon, we decided to do something a bit more frivolous to take our minds of the impending environmental and social fate of humanity. So we went to the Tisbury Street Fair! There was lots of ice cream, fried dough, soda, and music!
Sue decided to unwind with a quick chair massage, making sure she was feeling fresh enough to dance all night tomorrow at prom!
Yep, it was another fantastic day.
