We were all scarfing down Josh’s migas (look it up) when KABOOM! The loudest thunder Jabberwocky has heard in a long while shot through camp. Approximately 80% of our campers immediately adopted this posture:
Thankfully, Jojo sung us through it, mangling the lyrics of “Kiss” with her Boriquan charm. Then we had two class periods. Josh and Chloe the camper co-lead meditation, and there were art and computer sessions as well.
In the afternoon, Madeline Way visited and we laid our parade costume plans at her feet, hoping for approval. We are hard at work making magic for the fourth, and we hope to see you there!
Also, JAKE AND KELSEY ARE HERE which means two things: adaptive biking and amazing photography. Here’s some evidence of both:
We figured since we got all that good exercise, we may as well indulge ourselves with a pizza AND cake AND ice cream party! This time Flatbread came to us, and we the lovely Traquinas supplied ice cream and toppings. The cake was in celebration of two birthdays: Alanna the counselor and Gabrielle Ho!
So it was with full stomachs that we headed down to the studio for the first dance party of the summer! And a pajama party with a live professional DJ, no less.
Tomorrow: beach beach beach and PARADE PREP!!
Yay.
Love,
Camp
