Well, your crossed fingers didn’t work: IT RAINED ALL DAY!
But never fear, camp knows how to do fun in any weather.
Following a delectable breakfast of bagels imported from Cape Cod and retrieved by the inimitable Jack, most of us headed to music in the studio, while a lucky few did pottery in the studio with Elke’s dad. We also enjoyed cabin bonding sessions, featuring questionnaires and a scavenger hunt.
Then, after fantastic sandwiches crafted by Jordan, Maggie and Brynn, we enjoyed a rest period in an effort to stop the spread of a classic camp cold. It was still drizzly in the afternoon, so some of camp cozied up to a movie in the studio, while other brave souls led by Jack headed to OB for kite flying and ice cream.
However we chose to spend our afternoons, everybody hurried to the main cabin at 6:45 sharp for DINNER AND A PERFORMANCE FROM THE VINEYARD SOUND!!!!!! The beautiful performance was supplemented by another prizewinning dinner by Cynthia.
Excuse us while we swoon.
Tomorrow is an exciting day, with trips to the Skipper and kayaking. We are pretty pumped.
Love,
Camp
