First off, please excuse our awkward and unflattering iPhone pictures today– everyone was too excited with their new campers/counselors to think to break out a real camera and take some model shots. The nerve. Also our guest photographer left 🙁

But first let’s rewind…
This morning, we said our summer goodbyes to a whole bunch of campers and a couple counselors/visitors/photographers. Patty and Paul will certainly miss each other’s friendship.
After an unsuccessful but very moving strike, the twins ended up having to go home after all 🙁 but they definitely had a wonderful time and we already can’t wait to see them again!!
It was a sad morning that quickly turned into a FREAKIN AWESOME AFTERNOON because we picked up a whole bunch of new campers and counselors and strangers from the ferry and brought them back to camp!

Once we got back to camp from the ferry and jammed some food down, we all tried to find our bathing suits and loaded up the bus for the beach!!! First beach day in what feels like 12 years but maybe we’re drama queens. It was great, though.
Today was an emotional roller coaster! Tomorrow we will have so much fun and maybe it will also be an emotional roller coaster! We’ll show you tomorrow night!
