Today we welcomed another cohort of campers! We got up extra early just to make sure we caught the ferry on time to pick everybody up. Meanwhile, some campers were gleefully galloping away at Misty Meadows:
Callooh Callay, THEY’RE HERE!!!
After eating lunch with everyone in the main cabin, we spent a few hours unpacking and settling in. Around 3 o’clock, we hopped onto the bus for the beach—but wait, today was Tuesday… which means we weren’t just on the beach, we were Drumming on the Beach! We held our traditional cookout and ate s’more s’mores while dancing to the beat of the drums:
The day drew to a close with our hearts happy and full. Cheers to the start of period 5!
