After play practice, we headed to Oak Bluffs for a picnic and to participate in a parade to announce the first annual Jazz Festival.
Richard greeted everyone coming off the ferry, welcoming them to the island, and sometimes welcoming them to Nantucket.
Lots of folks took photos of us.
Maybe they thought we were celebs.
“Made in the Shade” entertained us and led us in a parade up Circuit Ave.
When we got back to the vans, we had a short dance party to celebrate….?
well, to celebrate.
